Quay Street and other sites in Galway

Quay Street is the main street in Galway. Many, many stores, pubs and lots of fun. On the top left was a fellow AOH member, in the middle is busy Quay St., on the right was a shot I took of some store fronts. On the bottom left is the Connacht Tribune. I wondered in there trying to get a tour, but it was late in the day and it was just about closed, but a lady named Sabrina Sheppherd as normal in Ireland volunteered to take me through the paper and to visit the composing room, which uses the same basic equipment I use at the Reading Eagle, I also visited the pressroom and got to talk to a couple of pressmen. I told Sabrina kiddingly that maybe I will be back in a couple of years to work part-time at the paper and tour Ireland, who knows? In the middle was a nice man we met on our last night pub hopping. His name was Emon and he had his opinions on American politics. The Irish including Emon that I talked too loved Bill Clinton and Hillary, but don't care for George Bush. Bottom right was in the Taaft Pub our last pub with traditional music. We could barely move it was that crowded on a Friday night.
